Who we are
MODE is an experiment in how societies might think together again in the age of AI through shared work, shared risk, and shared reflection.
It does not promise answers. It builds the conditions under which better questions can survive.
At MODE, thinking and action are inseparable. We create participatory experiments, workshops, and collaborative research that put ideas into practice, inviting people to engage directly with technology, ethics, and the material worlds around them. Here, participants are co-creators, not spectators — testing, making, and exploring together to see what emerges in action, not just conversation.
We work across disciplines and perspectives, blending art, science, technology, and philosophy to explore the ways humans and machines shape each other. By embedding reflection in practice, MODE generates insights that only arise when thinking is lived, tested, and experienced collectively.
This is not theory for its own sake. MODE cultivates spaces where curiosity, experimentation, and collective practice meet, nurturing questions that are resilient enough to guide society through rapid technological change.
